TUBE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove wheel with flat tire from bike. Before attempting
to remove tube, depress valve core and completely deflate.
2. Disengage tire bead by pressing the edges of the tire
together all the way around. Once bead is disengaged, start
rolling the tire bead off the rim opposite the valve stem. If you
cannot remove the tire by hand then carefully and ONLY with
the proper bicycle tire levers, begin rolling tire off again.
3. Remove tube. Check the inside of the tire casing for debris
or protruding objects. Remove any loose rust or dirt and then
dust with tire talc. Make sure a proper rim strip is used to
cover all spoke heads.
4. Dust new tube with talc and insert into tire. Make sure the
valve stem is lined up to the rim valve stem hole correctly.
Carefully poke stem through hole. Smooth tube into tire.
Starting at the valve stem, push bead of tire back over rim
edge using hands only. Use extra care if tools are used to
re-install the tire on the wheel.
5. Lightly inflate tire to check if tire is properly and evenly
seated. CAUTION: Use pumps that are designed for bicycles.
When using compressed air systems, exercise caution. Too
much pressure can cause a blowout!
6. Check valve stem for leakage, adjust if necessary, inflate
your new BikeTubez to the recommended pressure.
Replace valve cap.
7. Replace the wheel on the bicycle.
